Alpha acquires Maxtech

Alpha Sintered Metals Inc, based in Ridgway, USA, has bought Maxtech Manufacturing Inc, based in Quebec, Canada.

ASM says that it will move Maxtech equipment to its main 100,000 square foot PM parts plant in Ridgway and to its plant in Yizheng, China. “We will increase our PM stainless steel exhaust product global manufacturing capacity and add a number of new production associates as a result of the asset purchase,” says JoAnne Ryan, president and CEO.

Maxtech Manufacturing offers various metal products, including stainless steel exhaust and intake sensor housings, stainless steel fittings, engine and fluid cooling system components, front end accessory drive components, tilt steering components, gear shift levers, seating components, shafting, fuel system components, drive train pulley hubs, shock tubes and components, and assemblies.
