Marucci to head R&D at Hoeganaes

US powder giant Hoeganaes Corporation has appointed Michael L Marucci as director of Research and Development reporting to the company’s president, Dave Kasputis.

He had been serving as global manager of Quality Assurance for the last two years.

An eight-year veteran of the company, Marucci has held various management positions in quality assurance and market development-sales. He began his career with Hoeganaes as a development engineer.
 
Marucci has authored or co-authored 10 papers on sinter hardening, high density press and sinter PM, and new PM material systems. He earned an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management, both from Drexel University.
