New automotive PM parts listing

18 September 2009

The Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF) has set up a continually-updated online document covering specific PM parts applications in North American, European, and Asian light vehicles.

More than 300 applications representing more than 750 individual parts will be organised into three categories: engine, transmission/transfer case, and body/chassis, and further separated into various sub-systems, such as gasoline and diesel engines, hybrid electric motors, automatic and manual transmissions, axle-differentials, and steering, suspension, and brake systems.

The listings will identify new PM applications in all types of light vehicles as they are introduced in new model years.
The information is available via the PM automotive parts catalogue link on the MPIF website.
