American National Carbide plans U$S25 million expansion

American National Carbide is to expand its raw materials manufacturing arm.

As reported on Your Houston News, US$2.5 million expansion will add around 8,000 ft2 to its existing 45,000 ft2 facility and add around 25 new positions.
 
American National Carbide is a manufacturer of tungsten carbide products for oil and gas.
 
“The oil and gas (industry) is booming right now and that really helps us,” Greg Stroud, president of American National Carbide, told the website. “We have nowhere to move but up. Over the next few years we expect to triple revenue with this expansion.”
