Carpenter expands – buys 50 acres of land

Conventional and powder metal specialist Carpenter Technology Corporation is buying 50 acres of land including four buildings in Reading, Pennsylvania, USA, for US$6 million from Reading Industrial Complex.

The site is adjacent to Carpenter’s East Shore property. The four existing buildings on the site have an overall square footage exceeding 355,000 ft2 – the two largest buildings are 174,311 ft2 and 122,914 ft2.

The remaining land (approximately 40 acres) provides opportunity for future growth.
