EPMA 2011 Distinguished Service Awards to PM Technology and CEIT

The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) has awarded its 2011 Distinguished Service Awards to Dr Olle Grinder, Founder of Sweden's PM Technology AB and Professor Francisco Castro of CEIT, Spain.

Euro PM2011 attracted 900 participants

This year's Euro PM Congress in Barcelona, Spain, organised and hosted by the European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA), attracted nearly 900 participants.

Erasteel boosts R&D

Erasteel has taken a significant step in strengthening its research and development resource by taking a majority shareholding in Metallied, a company that specialises in small batches of tailor-made powders. Erasteel is a 100% subsidiary of Eramet, the French metallurgy and mining group based in Paris.

ERAMET subsidiary opens powder metallurgy facility in Sweden

ERAMET subsidiary ERASTEEL, has inaugurated a €20 million powder metallurgy gas atomising tower at its Söderfors plant in Sweden.
