Plansee grows globally

The Plansee Group based in Reutte, Austria, added five new companies in fiscal year 2005/2006 and posted worldwide sales of €1.3 billion. Electro-Graph in Carlsbad, California, was its latest acquisition in 2006. It supplies refractory metal components to the semiconductor industry.
Plansee established sales companies in Mexico, Spain, and Italy marketing high-performance materials. Comprised of three divisions, Plansee High Performance Materials, Ceratizit, and PMG, the company has 8,500 employees. It is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of PM products and parts.
