New line in Romania
US metal powder giant Hoeganaes Corporation has installed a second continuous annealing furnace at its plant in Buzau, Romania.
The 1500-metre furnace was shipped to Romania from the Hoeganaes plant in Riverton, New Jersey and completely refurbished at Buzau. It is expected to become operational in the second quarter of next year. This is the latest in a series of developments at Buzau where a 20-ton blender was installed recently. Both of these facilities complement the blending and warehouse operation at Hoeganaes’ Hückeswagen, Germany plant.
