Cash from Connecticut
Mott Corporation, of Farmington, Connecticut., has received a grant from the Connecticut Small Business Innovation Research Office to develop porous metal membranes for fuel cell technologies. These grants promote emerging nanotechnologies and new product development by small businesses in the state.
Mott supplies products in various media grades and alloys, including titanium, Hastelloy, Inconel, and 316L stainless steel. Among its many products, Mott has made sintered porous metal for different fuel cell and hydrogen separation applications.
