Located in Inner Mongolia, Baotou makes high-purity and high-performance natural graphite products for mobile energy and engineering applications. Established in 1990, the company has 140 employees.

The new joint venture was renamed Timcal Jing Yuan Graphite (Baotou) Co Ltd. Timcal says the acquisition further strengthens its international leadership position in providing innovative graphite and carbon solutions to customers.
